What the Museum Will Feature

The museum is likely to feature about 100 digital and physical exhibits. The exhibits will feature different breeds of cattle found in India, including rare ones that are on the verge of extinction.

A special section will focus on India’s dairy heritage. It will explain how milk and milk products such as cheese, butter, curd, and ghee are processed and their nutritional value. The presentation will also highlight the Ayurvedic benefits of cow-based products.

Plans also include setting up a dairy parlour within the museum complex. Visitors will be able to purchase fresh dairy items directly from the site, promoting local dairy farmers and producers.

Cultural Significance

According to officials, the museum will acknowledge the cow as a mother figure in Indian culture and its significance in the Sanatan life system. The museum will showcase how cow protection is associated not only with religion but also with agriculture, sustainability, and rural life.

The museum is in line with the guidelines set by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The authorities feel that the museum will enhance the cultural identity of the Braj region and spread awareness about a cow-based rural economy developed through scientific techniques.

The museum will be an educational hub and a tourist destination in Mathura after its completion. It will provide a platform to highlight the cattle heritage of India while promoting research, conservation, and sustainable development.
