Ayodhya Ram Mandir Flag Hoisting: PM Modi in Ayodhya

Prior to the major Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Dhwajarohan Utsav, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Ayodhya. He is scheduled to raise a saffron flag atop the recently constructed Ram Temple on Monday as part of the historic ceremony.

The specially made flag, which is 22 feet long and 11 feet wide, is intended to symbolically commemorate the Ram Temple’s completion. The flag, which weighs two to three kilogrammes, was made in accordance with Defence Ministry specifications by a parachute specialist from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It has been made to fit the 42-foot flagpole and the 161-foot temple peak, making it stand out over the shrine.

Between 11:52 a.m. and 12:35 p.m., PM Modi will raise the flag during an auspicious muhurat. The fact that the event falls on Vivah Panchami, the holy day commemorating the divine union of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, gives it additional spiritual significance.

The Prime Minister is anticipated to tour several areas of the expansive temple complex, which includes seven temples. Along with participating in an aarti, he might speak to the devotees assembled at the temple for the festivities.

Following what devotees refer to as the “era of Treta yug,” Ayodhya’s dynasty flag will fly once more in a highly symbolic moment. The flag, which was created by Vaishnav saints following a thorough analysis of ancient texts, has a number of unique features. The image of the Sun symbolises Lord Ram’s connection to the Suryavanshi lineage, while the colour saffron denotes sacrifice and devotion.

Devotees from all over India and the world are keeping a close eye on the Dhwajarohan Utsav, which is being viewed as yet another milestone in Ayodhya’s ongoing spiritual and cultural renaissance.
