Cooch Behar, West Bengal:
Seishinkai Cooch Behar successfully conducted a powerful two-day karate training camp and referee seminar, bringing together discipline, learning, and a strong sense of unity among practitioners.
The camp was led by Hanshi Premjit Sen, President of the Karate Do Association of Bengal, whose presence and guidance added immense value to the program. His hands-on approach, technical depth, and ability to connect with students at all levels created an inspiring training environment throughout the camp.
Day 1 witnessed intense and high-energy karate training sessions, focusing on fundamentals, advanced techniques, and fighting spirit. Participants trained with dedication and enthusiasm, reflecting the true essence of martial arts.
Day 2 featured a Referee Seminar aimed at enhancing officiating standards and updating participants with the latest developments in competitive karate. The session played a key role in strengthening the technical knowledge and confidence of referees and officials.
The event was smoothly organised under the leadership of Sensei Sattyanarayan Mangar (President), Sensei Rajesh Harijan (General Secretary), and Sensei Sourav Panda (Treasurer), whose commitment ensured the success of the program.
Special respect was extended to Sensei Rakesh Sarkar, who could not attend due to a serious accident. Despite his absence, his guidance remained an important pillar behind the initiative.
Appreciation was also extended to Sensei Amitava Roy, who attended despite demanding election duties, showing true dedication to the karate fraternity.
Speaking on the occasion, Hanshi Premjit Sen shared:
“What we are building here is beyond training. It is about discipline, unity, and carrying forward the true spirit of karate. The energy and commitment I have seen in Cooch Behar is truly encouraging for the future.”
Participants described the camp as highly motivating and enriching, with many highlighting the opportunity to train directly under such experienced leadership.
The program concluded with a strong message—Seishinkai continues to grow not just as an organisation, but as a united family committed to excellence.
