Must read

Patna, Bihar | August 17, 2025Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday urged voters to remove the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from power in Bihar. Addressing a massive rally, Lalu Yadav accused the ruling party of “stealing votes” and harming democracy.

Speaking passionately to supporters, Lalu said, “BJP ko bhagaiye, hume jitaiye.” He labeled the BJP as “thieves” and claimed their governance was undermining the democratic process in the state. The former Chief Minister emphasized that the people of Bihar should exercise their right to vote wisely and prevent further exploitation.

The rally saw enthusiastic participation from party workers and local residents, highlighting RJD’s continued influence in Bihar’s political landscape. Analysts note that such strong statements by Lalu Yadav come ahead of crucial local elections and are aimed at consolidating anti-BJP votes in the state.

Party sources indicated that the RJD intends to step up its campaign efforts across districts, focusing on alleged corruption and governance issues under the current state administration.

The BJP, on the other hand, has yet to respond officially to these allegations. Political observers believe this rhetoric could intensify the electoral battle in Bihar and further polarize the voter base ahead of upcoming polls.
