Mumbai, 24 November 2025 — Indian film industry is in shock after iconic actor Dharmendra passed away today at his residence in Juhu, Mumbai, at the age of 89. The veteran actor, known for his decades-long career and beloved as one of Bollywood’s most enduring stars, reportedly breathed his last peacefully surrounded by family.

Dharmendra was a towering figure in Hindi cinema. From his breakout in the 1960s to his memorable roles across action, romance and comedy, he built a legacy spanning more than 300 films. Celebrated for hits like Phool Aur Patthar, Sholay and Seeta Aur Geeta, he became known as the “He-Man” of Bollywood.
