Mumbai, 12 November 2025 – Bollywood legend Dharmendra, aged 89, has been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital early Wednesday morning and will continue his recovery at home, his family confirmed.

The actor was admitted to the hospital on 31 October after experiencing breathlessness, and underwent observation and treatment at the hospital. At around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday he was officially discharged, as confirmed by Dr Pratit Samdani of Breach Candy Hospital. The family has opted to care for him at home henceforth.

Earlier false reports had claimed that he had passed away, which were dismissed by his daughter Esha Deol and wife Hema Malini.
