IPL 2026 clash: Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians aim to build momentum after winning starts
IPL 2026: Early parts of the IPL 2026 season have already provided excitement, and it seems that this coming Saturday will be no exception when Delhi Capitals meet Mumbai Indians in a clash in the afternoon at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Since he was involved only in the ODI format internationally, Rohit had the luxury of being part of the entire training process before the tournament began. This extensive preparation seems to have worked in his favor as is evident from his smooth stroke-making and impeccable timing.
Now that the two teams are gearing up for the clash, the pitch at the Arun Jaitley Stadium is likely to provide better opportunities for the batsmen. Pitches during early stages of the season in the IPL tend to be fresh and support quick runs. As the tournament progresses, the wicket becomes slow.
In case of DC, the problem will lie in resolving their top-order problems while utilizing their middle-order advantage. Rizvi and Stubbs are already accustomed to playing under pressure and the team cannot afford to depend on the recovery through their lower order consistently.
Meanwhile, MI should aim to sustain their performance and extend their domination. Given their stable opening duo as well as their efficient batting lineup, they seem more than prepared for the match conditions.
