Saba Ibrahim recently ventured into the food and hospitality business with her husband Khalid Niyaz by launching their restaurant named “Khushamadeed” in Mumbai. The restaurant quickly gained attention, especially among fans who were eager to visit and support the couple’s new entrepreneurial journey. However, just weeks after its launch, the couple revealed that they had to temporarily shut down operations due to unexpected challenges.
In her vlog, Saba Ibrahim addressed her audience and shared the difficult decision. She explained that the restaurant is facing a shortage of LPG gas cylinders, which made it difficult to continue operations smoothly. According to Saba, the lack of gas supply created significant operational hurdles and increased stress for the team.
“This is very sad news for us and for all of you. We have to close our restaurant. First of all, we are not getting enough gas cylinders — they are very limited. That’s one reason,” Saba said in her vlog.
She further added that the issue was not limited to their restaurant alone. Several eateries in the surrounding area were also facing similar shortages and had temporarily closed for two to three days. Saba mentioned that the team had been under constant pressure trying to manage the situation but eventually decided to pause operations until a proper solution could be found.
Apart from the LPG shortage, Saba and her husband also opened up about another significant issue that contributed to their decision. The couple admitted that they faced interior design challenges due to gaps in paneling work, which led to hygiene concerns. According to them, rats had started entering the restaurant through these gaps, making it unsafe to operate.
“When you try something new, mistakes are bound to happen. We didn’t have enough knowledge at the time, and the people working on our interiors were also new. They gave the restaurant a great look, but gaps in between allowed rats to enter. When we saw this problem, we realised we couldn’t operate like this because it would be risky,” Saba explained.
The couple emphasized that maintaining hygiene and customer safety was their top priority, which led them to take the difficult step of temporarily shutting down the restaurant for renovation and fixes. Saba further clarified that the restaurant will remain closed for around 15 to 20 days, during which they plan to resolve the issues and make necessary improvements.
“In short, we have to keep our restaurant, Khushamadeed, closed for 15-20 days. When you visit next, you might not see the same look, but we’ll try our best to make it as similar as possible,” she added.
The announcement quickly gained traction online, with fans expressing their support and encouraging the couple to focus on quality and safety. Many followers praised Saba for being transparent about the challenges and appreciated her honest communication.
While Saba Ibrahim is widely known due to her association with Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar, she has built her own identity as a successful YouTuber and influencer. Unlike her brother and sister-in-law, who gained fame through television shows such as “Sasural Simar Ka,” Saba chose a different path and focused on content creation.
Through her vlogs, she shares glimpses of her daily life, family moments, travel experiences, and motherhood journey. Her relatable content and strong family bond have helped her gain a loyal audience across India.
Despite the temporary setback, fans remain optimistic about the reopening of “Khushamadeed” and are eagerly waiting for Saba Ibrahim and Khalid Niyaz to relaunch their restaurant with improvements.
The temporary closure has ultimately turned into a trending topic, with many praising Saba Ibrahim for her honesty, transparency, and commitment to quality.
